QUARANTINED!!

yup thats what i am right now... quarantined ..

well people say its good.. no studies.. get to stay at home.. bla bla bla.. but it sucks.. coz i didnt sit for my exams.. and worst of all.. it made me miss the quater finals of the Talyors debate competition. now thats sad...

sorry team, but i just didnt have the strength to do it.

still feeling week, not as bad as sunday which is my first day of quarantine, and still having back aches.. when will this be over.. i need to focus on my exams.. haihh..

unrelated to the above, i dont know the english saying but i know the BM one..

sepandai-pandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke tahan juga

now my spelling may be wrong... coz i dont type in BM but i believe that a recent event that has taken place proves this, for the international readers, it means.. as smart as a squirrel may jump it will fall to the ground one day.

i guess it proves, the other saying can you walk the talk?? many people say they can and they want this.. they are of this and that standard... so much for that and their lies.

and some people just cant see their fault
but thank god for those who can uses logical thought

its weird when we learn about biotic relations, that there are parasitism and things like that.. well those rules of nature dont really apply to real life do they?... damn, y cant life be like the animal kingdom where its either prey or predator and not like humans that are so fickle.

make up your mind, its either you want to listen to your word or just admit your a lier, no point saying something and forgetting it later and well to put it simply when questioned, answer the complete opposite thing.

sorry guys it took so long to type out about the finals of the Debate well the day 3, here it is

woke up with a bunch of problems, we were late.. lol... then we had a big schock when we realise that Austen's team made it to Semi's.. no one expected it.. but since they made it.. congrats.

well we went up against the ICSJ 2 on the motion

' this house would implement the doctorine of preamtive strikes on rouge nuclear nations.'

we lost that by 4 marks... which we felt was ridicculas reasons... apparently we narrowed the topic too much... fuck that!

yeah then i rushed for INTIMA's award presentation and INSTALLATION night, i learnt that well... people can be real iddiots, so much for my high level of tolerence... i also hit someone... the night turned out ok la... didnt sleep till the early hours of the morning though... was out with the other debaters...

i guess it was ok la overall... real lack of sleep... but then again... that life =)

2nd day

yesterday, we had 3 rounds of debate and won all 3!! wohoo..

the first motion was
'this house would not follow the American lifestyle'.

in this round we went up against a new team that i trained.. according to the judges we trashed them, non the less they were good for first timers.

the second motion is
' this house believes that paper qualifications ensures success in life'

this round we went up against Sarawak( the same team which i fought last year and lost to) this one was a definitional debate about paper qualifications and success in life... all the speeches were about the definition... tough round... and the 3rd speaker from Sarawak team got the top 5 best speakers! congrats to her!!

and the third motion was
' this house believes that only African countries should be peacekeepers in African conflicts'

for this motion i thank god for Tehsin and his African knowledge, we won but it was a close fight as well. the opponents thought it was a trashing.. but it was a close fight, as we didnt atack all of their points.


it was SSuper tiring day, and after that we had a meeting in INTIMA and then we went out with the debaters from penang and sarawak for dinner... sandheep was so insting on going because of a hot debater from penang... if ur reading this.. u know who u are.. lol... well i have to admit she is hot.. but after a while he said nah.

so after dinner at al-salam(mamak) we went to play pool, where we met the head judge there... then we went to the cc and play for a while and about 1 somthing i came back.. was just too tired..

tommro is going to crazy... semi's!! hope we make it trough, and then there is installation night..

somthing i learnt, a person may have a vast knowledge on so many things that one forgets that not everyone is life one'self. but thats for another post.

5th Inter campus debates!

today is the first day of the INTI's 5th Inter campus debates and well.. here i am awake early in the morning getting ready... fingers still cold and too many typo's as it is.. lol...

this post is dedicated to the 5 teams of INTI-UC that have been trained by the debate society of INTI-UC,

guys and gals.. i know we have been hard on you at times and disturbed the hell out of you maybe traumatized the life out of you, but it was all not for nothing... it has prepared you for any sort of disturbances i hope today.

also, the 5 of you have made it out of 11, you are the top 5. dont worry where u guys are placed amongst those 5, because in my eyes either one of these 5 team can win each other given the right circumstances.

have confidence in yourself because i have confidence in you. make not only your team mates, families, the debate society, INTI-UC but most importantly, you proud, for you have come this far ready for the battle that lies ahead.

a ship is called a "she" because there is always a great deal of bustle around her; there is usually a gang of men about, she has a waist and stays; it takes a lot of paint to keep her good looking; it is not the initial expenses that breaks you, it is the upkeep; she can be all backed out; it takes experienced man to handle her correctly; and without a man at the helm, she is absolutely uncontrollable. she shows her topside, hides her bottom and, when coming into port, always heads for the buoys

it has been a while since i was able to get proper sleep... guess this is the life of a student

INTIball part 2

these is the second and last part of prom. here they are..

introducing the 14th INTIMA president, Sandheep Nair (was trying to do a pole dance but found out later that the pillar was too big...)

Next up is our two vice presidents of activities and admin, Shehan Ashely Kamalanathan and Miss Chong Wai Quai. (the start of the office romance...)


then of course we have the sluty group pose... note president needs new socks.. and finally this was how the night all began... tables were proper... i dare not show the after pictures..

and for those who have not guessed it... the theme color was white and purple..



next years one is going to be bigger and better... guess why??... coz i will be a part of the organizing committee of course...
